Escape from Tarkov: A Beginner’s Latest Guide

on

Escape from Tarkov is difficult to master due to the many different nuances and little things. A distinctive feature of the game is the ability to influence the further achievements of the character through battles with enemies, in other words, the goal of any battle is a set of valuable inventory (Tarkov roubles, weapons, ammunition, etc.) that will help move further along the storyline from location to location.

The game has evacuation points:

  • The main
  • Secondary (side)

The first is available to all players, sometimes you have to pay for the second, or it closes if one of the players dumps before you. The game has real opponents and bots. Bots are controlled by artificial intelligence, which can overwhelm you, as a computer should.

Interface

In the “General” tab, the gamer can study all the statistics for the game, which includes:

the total time you spent in the game;
the level of your soldier;
the number of “kills / deaths”;
separately the number of killed players and bots;
number of completed raids, etc.

Main Character Tab

Available from the main screen of the game right above the “Trade” section. A little about the interface of this tab:

  • Quick access panel. The main task is to quickly switch between weapons, or to heal yourself.
  • Indicators of weight, general health, dehydration and energy of the fighter.
  • Ammunition. The game has ammunition that affects the functionality of a fighter, improving his characteristics or simply visually showing who the fighter belongs to.
  • Pouch. Needed to carry any items.
  • Backpack. Everything is clear here to put things for a long time, unlike pockets.
  • Pockets are needed to quickly use items at hand.
  • Body vests. Can be used as additional pockets.
  • Synchronization or treasure of the player. All precious loot will be found here.
  • Game currency. The amount of money is displayed, physically the money is in the cache. By the way, money can be kept in a wallet.

Slots are tied to the player’s health, if you are injured, then you lose part of the slots, all to be honestу.

Player Health

Shown Here:

  • Body temperature. Just like in life, if you are injured, you experience pain, and the body temperature rises accordingly, as a reaction to pain. Interestingly, as your body temperature rises, you feel dehydrated. The effect of dehydration is enhanced by taking pain relievers.
  • Arterial pressure. The amount of blood in the fighter. Severe injuries lower this indicator.
  • Exposure to chemicals.
  • Exposure to radiation.
  • Thirst.
  • Energy.

Moreover, a wounded soldier may experience the consequences of being wounded or severely wounded in the following form:

  • Heavy bleeding. A bandage is needed to stop the blood.
  • Limb fracture. If an arm or leg is broken, a splint will be needed.
  • Painful sensations. They are removed through the use of drugs (analgin, morphine).
  • Shaking hands and wobbling from side to side (bumpiness).

On the map tab, you can explore the terrain. It will be very difficult to get to the evacuation point without studying it.

Merchants

There are 7 merchants in the game who sell weapons and equipment. Initially, the purchase of equipment of only one level is available; when completing tasks, the levels are opened.

Types of merchants:

  • Prapor sells ammo and weapon upgrades.
  • The therapist sells medicines.
  • The buyer, who is also a huckster, sells junk and interesting loot, but at his own speculative prices. Everything that you sell to him, he estimates 2 times cheaper.
  • The skier sells modified cartridges.
  • The peacemaker sells goods for currency. His course is not always profitable.
  • The mechanic sells legendary weapons and equipment for euros or bitcoins.
  • The hoarder sells fixed price junk.
